After serving six years in prison for accidentally killing a man, Carter James moves to the Sunshine State and runs headlong into an adventure involving a 2,000-year-old suicidal convenience store clerk, a Cuban crime lord and the Fountain of Youth. Along the way he discovers that behind those crazy “Florida Man” stories is a land of unimaginable secrets – some even bigger than the one he carries.
